There's also a couple giveaways for this one, and a special one for teachers/educators! So keep an eye out for that at the end of this post :)
Having already survived six years at Tildor's top military academy, sixteen-year-old Renee De Winter is determined to graduate, training day and night to compete with her male classmates. When the boys overpower her parries, she works harder. When a bully sabotages her gear, she fights without it. But when an underground crime group captures her mentor for its illegal gladiatorial games, she must choose between her career and her conscience. Determined to penetrate the group's inner circles, Renee will leap from academia to the crime filled streets, pick up a sword, and weigh law against loyalty.
There is a TOTAL Song of the Lionness-Alana-Protector of the Small-Kel Tamora Pierce vibe going on here which is amazing! Tamora Pierce's Tortall books are among my longtime favourites, and if The Cadet of Tildor is anything like them then it will be a new favourite for sure! And the cover is pretty cool as well- definitely distinctive which I like! Plus there's a slight Robin Hood vibe with the idea of taking the law into your own hands.
Now, this one isn't being released until January 10, 2013 which means we have a LONG wait ahead of us, but I for one am going to be reading this one as soon as I'm able to! And it also means that this is one of my most anticipated books for 2013- it JUST makes the cut for 2013 but it's an early release :)

So all the swag is pretty cool but I think I am the most excited for the leather pouch. I love little bags and pouches and stuff, especially if they're book related (I'm currently carting around a Hobbit tote bag).
And the 2 words the cover brings to mind - Epic and Kick-Ass (That's one word right? I used a hyphen!)
I'm probably most excited about the zipper pouch because it's a different kind of swag than usual. Thanks for hosting this giveaway and bringing this title to light. It sounds soooo amazing.
Two words the cover brings to mind...fantastic and battles!
I totally agree with you on the Tamora Pierce/Song of the Lioness vibe--it makes me SUPER excited to read this one. I adore everything that woman's written, so if this is anywhere near as awesome as her novels, I'll be a huge fan.
Also, the cover is epic and wonderfully free of pretty girls in dresses!
