Wrapping Up 2011 Readathon

Jessie from Remarkable Reads is hosting a readathon over the holidays! Which is PERFECT timing because I have this time off, and I can devote extra time to reading before the year ends!

Because of this I'm really setting the bar high for myself and hoping to get LOTS of reading done.

These are the books I'm hoping to read during the readathon:

  • The Beautiful Code (The Start Up #3) by Sadie Hayes *started reading, barely into it. Readathon reading starts at page 5 FINISHED
  • Catching Jordan by Miranda Kenneally FINISHED
  • Every Other Day by Jennifer Lynn Barnes FINISHED
  • The Lady of the Rivers by Philippa Gregory
  • First Kill by Heather Brewer FINISHED
  • Heartless by Anne Elisabeth Steingl

I'm pleased with that :) and hoping to continue this much reading into next week before I go back to school.

I have the time off as well. I'm really looking forward to finally participating in a readathon. My goal is to read 7 books. I have a few short books that I think I may add in too though.

Cinder and Catching Jordan are great so I hope you enjoy those. My e-galley of Tempest expired so I'm also curious to see what you think about that one.

Catching Jordan also has a nice little twist. I loved the direction Kenneally took the story and all the true life moments that I felt helps us, as readers, relate to her characters. The romance in the story is just a plus. Jordan deals with a lot more than boy trouble.
