I haven't read this in a long time, but it was one of my favorites! We had a family friend who used to be a teacher, and he gave us the library that he had collected for his class room when he retired. This was one of the books - I don't know if I would have found it otherwise. I found a lot of my favorite books from his library. :] Thanks for sharing!Gabihttp://p-mato.blogspot.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1816359737285871844.post-12509481577620521492011-12-20T18:15:09.341-05:002011-12-20T18:15:09.341-05:00Thanks, Penelope! I probably safeguarded them for that reason: they were my own hiding place.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1816359737285871844.post-16886782251844295892011-12-20T15:10:13.699-05:002011-12-20T15:10:13.699-05:00How fun! Reading this story made me want to go lock one of my favorite books up in multiple boxes, and hide it away somewhere (maybe a time capsule is in order). I love that a book can do that to you; make you want to keep it hidden like the treasure that it is. Great post, Jodi!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07706877841667590803noreply@blogger.com
