This book, while strange at times, was a complete gem, and I consider myself lucky to have found it at my local library. Since reading it the first time I have purchased a copy of my own and plan on reading it again. This book is imaginative but very relatable, with a strong female lead and real life issues addressed. If you are a fan of YA fiction and fantasy books then you should give this book a try. While it may not be a typical "happily ever after" story, it is more captivating and memorable than most books I have read. That much said, I give it a five out of five.
